Student Protests Intensify Over Alleged Exam Paper Leak; Calls for Education Reforms Grow

Thousands of students continued protests in the national capital on Tuesday, demanding accountability over alleged examination paper leaks and comprehensive reforms to India’s examination system. The demonstrations come amid growing concerns over the fairness and transparency of competitive examinations.

Protesters gathered at Jantar Mantar after clashes with police during an earlier march towards Parliament. Reports indicate that over 100 people, including protesters and police personnel, were injured during the confrontation. Despite the crackdown, student groups have pledged to continue their movement through peaceful demonstrations.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the issue in Parliament, assuring that the government would work towards creating a “foolproof” public examination system and take strict action against those responsible for examination malpractice.
