Ayodhya Ram Temple Trust Reviews Administration Amid Donation Probe

Brocom News Network | Religion Desk

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust held a key meeting in Ayodhya as scrutiny continues over allegations of irregularities involving temple donations. The meeting focused on strengthening governance, reviewing administrative arrangements, appointing new trustees, and discussing the appointment of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to improve the temple’s day-to-day management.

The developments come after the Supreme Court sought a status report from the Uttar Pradesh Special Investigation Team (SIT) and issued notices to the Trust, the Union Government, and the Uttar Pradesh Government in connection with petitions seeking an independent investigation into the alleged misappropriation of donations. The Court also cautioned against politicising the matter, emphasizing that the focus should remain on accountability and transparency.

The Trust has stated that it is cooperating fully with the investigation and has introduced measures to strengthen the handling, custody, valuation, and accounting of devotees’ offerings. Officials have reiterated that daily worship, temple rituals, and pilgrim services continue without interruption, and devotees are being encouraged to maintain confidence in the temple’s administration.
