Rahul Gandhi Detained During Congress Protest Near PM Residence

Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, along with Congress MPs including Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, was briefly detained by the Delhi Police during a protest near Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official residence at Lok Kalyan Marg. The Congress protest was organized in support of students demonstrating over alleged examination paper leaks and to demand accountability from the government.

According to reports, Congress leaders staged a sit-in outside the Prime Minister’s residence, demanding discussions on the alleged examination irregularities and calling for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Police later removed the protesters and detained several leaders before releasing them.

Rahul Gandhi stated that the concerns raised by students should be discussed in Parliament, while the government said it is prepared to debate education-related issues through parliamentary procedures.
