33,000 Students in Noida & Greater Noida Await Government Uniform Aid

Brocom News Network | Greater Noida

More than 33,000 students studying in government schools across Noida and Greater Noida are still waiting for the Uttar Pradesh government’s financial assistance to purchase school uniforms, bags, shoes, and stationery, despite the academic session having started nearly four months ago.

Officials said the delay has been caused by verification of bank account details and Aadhaar linkage under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. Parents and school authorities have urged the government to release the funds at the earliest so students can receive the necessary educational support.

Education experts have expressed concern that the prolonged delay is placing an additional financial burden on economically weaker families and affecting students’ preparedness for the ongoing academic year.

  • Financial aid includes uniforms, shoes, school bags, and stationery.
