Uttarakhand to Launch India’s First Agniveer Rozgar Cell

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced the establishment of India’s first Agniveer Rozgar Cell, a dedicated employment support initiative for Agniveers completing their service under the Agnipath scheme.

The Rozgar Cell will assist former Agniveers in securing employment opportunities in both the government and private sectors. It will also provide career counselling, skill mapping, job placement support, and information about self-employment and entrepreneurship schemes.

The Chief Minister said the initiative is aimed at recognising the discipline, training, and experience of Agniveers while ensuring they have meaningful career opportunities after completing their military tenure. The state government also plans to coordinate with industries, educational institutions, and government departments to facilitate recruitment.
